Buying Life Insurance? Two Questions to ask your Agent
If you are buying life insurance you need to get in touch with your agent. After all, they are the expert in the field who can answer any and all of your questions. Of course, you should do your own research as well. This way you can get a feel for what you want to buy, but then let your agent put in their two cents as well.
When buying life insurance you should ask your agent two questions. First off, would term or whole life insurance be better? In more cases than not, they will break down the pros and cons for you, and then let you decide which one is better. But at the very least, you should let them do this for you. This may result in you finding something that you did not know was there.
You should also ask your agent their opinion on how much coverage you should buy. This should be based largely on your current income and how many people rely on it. But your agent should be able to tell you what the average coverage level is for somebody in your position.
Overall, buying life insurance is not something that you have to do on your own. When you work with an agent you can get professional advice and answers throughout the entire buying process.
