Which Health Insurance Plan will win out?
The 2008 race for the White House is set. Republican John McCain is facing off against Democrat Barack Obama. Although there are many details that each camp needs to work out, these are the two candidates that Americans will be selecting from when November rolls around. No matter if you are a Republican or Democrat chances are that you will be keeping a close watch on how the race unfolds. More specifically, you are probably quite interested in which health insurance plan is going to win out. As you may or may not know, McCain and Obama have different ideas on which plan would best help the health insurance industry.
At this time, both candidates have revealed a bit of information about the health insurance plan that they are going to implement should they win the White House. That being said, things can and will change over time.
Senator McCain’s health insurance plan is based around tax credits for individuals and families. He feels that this is the best way to ensure that every American can afford to purchase health insurance coverage without being forced into buying something that they are not comfortable with.
On the other side of things, Senator Obama plans to make available a national insurance plan that will offer coverage similar to the plan that members of Congress have access to. To go along with this, he is guaranteeing that every American will be eligible for coverage no matter what preexisting conditions they are dealing with.
As of now, it is difficult to say if one of these plans is head and shoulders above the other. Over the summer, more details will be released by both candidates that will give every American a better idea of which plan will work best for them.
