Super Tuesday: The Candidates and their Health Insurance Plans

As you probably know, Super Tuesday is a big day as far as the presidential race is concerned. In fact, by the end of the day it may become obvious as to which candidates are going to emerge as their party's nominee. If you are interested in this race, as well as the future state of the health care industry, you should keep a close watch on the results from Super Tuesday. There are 22 states participating.

For instance, do you feel that Hillary Clinton's universal health care plan is what the country needs? If so, it is safe to say that you will be pulling for her today when the results begin to come in. If Clinton can win big states such as New York and New Jersey, she will put herself in better position to secure the nomination. Of course, Barack Obama has a health care plan of his own, and at this time, he is favored in quite a few states himself. Many experts agree that Super Tuesday may not decide who comes away with the Democratic Party nomination.

On the other side of things, John McCain should be able to wrap up the Republican nomination if he competes well on Super Tuesday. His health care plan is nowhere near the same as Clinton's and Obama's. But with that being said, many people feel that his plan, which includes tax breaks for purchasing health insurance, has a lot to offer.

There is no denying that each candidate was campaigning hard over this past weekend. While health care was not the only thing that they discussed, it was surely one of the most popular topics. After all, the people of the United States want to know how the health care and insurance industries are going to be changed for the better. This is a particularly important question among the nearly 47 million Americans who are uninsured.

So which candidate are you going to be pulling for on Super Tuesday? Will it be Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John McCain, Mike Huckabee, or Mitt Romney? Before you decide, make sure that you know each ones stance on health care.
